Note
  1. Adjusting Sweetness and Tanginess:

    • The amount of jaggery and tamarind pulp can be adjusted according to your taste preferences. If you prefer a sweeter dal, add more jaggery; for more tanginess, increase the tamarind pulp.
  2. Consistency of Dal:

    • If the dal is too thick, you can add a little water to achieve your desired consistency. If it’s too thin, let it simmer for a few extra minutes to thicken.
  3. Spice Level:

    • Adjust the number of green chilies and the amount of red chili powder according to your spice tolerance.
  4. Ghee and Oil:

    • Using a combination of ghee and oil in the tadka adds a rich flavor to the dal. You can use only ghee or oil if preferred.
  5. Serving Suggestions:

    • Pineapple Dal pairs well with plain rice, coconut rice, or even as a side dish with chapati or naan.
